    A: Per passenger, yes — UK Government 2026 conversion factors put a well-loaded long-distance coach at around 0.0395 kg CO2e per passenger-km, against roughly 0.11 to 0.30 kg CO2e per passenger-km for someone driving alone, depending on the car.
